Hi sorry the Car is not a C1 it is in fact a manual 1litre Cireon AX, the car starts fine but you will be driving along and it will start to Rev itself to red-line, I have to drive it with my foot on the break changing gear so as not to blow the engine, if i have to stop i have to cut the engine off then try and start it again 9 times out of 10 after it has rev'd itself it wont start, any ideas?

The carburettor on the ax is controlled by the ECU/ECM so i suspect you are getting a wrong signal being transmitted to the carb .. try reading the ECM for fault codes
