2004 Citroen Berlingo

Hi, the engine warning lite came on my car so I took the car to a garage, they said it needed a new ECG valve, they replaced the valve and the engine warning light went off. The problem is that the engine doesn't have the same power as as it had before the valve was replaced. The light has now came back on i cant get the car into a garage until next week, is it safe to use the car until then for quite long journeys (150 miles or more)?

I would have the vehicle checked ASAP .. damage to the catalytic convertor (Expensive) can occur if fault not rectified
