Over heating replaced thermostat

Car started to run hot I put a new thermostat on it, but it is still running hot.

Hello Shaun,

OK, Have you noticed whether the Fan come on or not? Also, if you have owned since new has the Radiator ever been replaced? Is the engine light on if so see about getting codes read.

One way to check the Radiator if not sure how old it is is to while it is cold run your finger carefully over the metal fins if they turn to dust replace it, it is not cooling properly.

If fan is not coming on check fuses it could also be the Coolant Temp Sensor hence an engine light being on.

Post vehicle model and submodel and I will get you Fuse Block Layout.
