I have a 2000 chrysler voyager that when you drive it will not shift into 3rd.
When i had a computer put on it, I found out that the shift soleniod was bad now do i have to take the transmission out or is it on the outside

The solenoid pack is bolted to the front of the transmission. It sits under a foam rubber noise-cancelling cover.
