trasmition doesnt change

hi sir,
i have a chrysler town & country, year 2000, the car doesn't feel like it cahges gears becuase my RPM on 80 miles it is 5300,that's too high,if i let go of the exeleration my speed goes down with no fealing of gear shifting down.

At this point the check engine light has got to be on! The tcc seems not to be Tcing!
