Small Red dot dash light in the driver info center? Why

I also have a 2001 Chrysler T&C with the 3.8, and the red dot light on the dash is the security light, usually, if working properly, it will blink a few times when the door is first locked, showing that the security system is working properly, just like the alarm light in the earlier years.
