2007 Chrysler Town and Country sliding rear door

the sliding rear door on my van will not open or close with the use of power. It will pop open but will not continue to open, if I pull it open about 6" and push the button again it will open. Then it will close to the point of about 6" from closed and stop will not latch.

When it gets to that 6" point, does the motor continue running or does it stop?

The motor stops running at that point also.
