2006 Chrysler Town and Country fuel exhaust

My engine light is on and with the diagnostic test it said fuel exhaust problem too hot, sensor or circuit A. That is not the exact wording I cannot remember it exactly but that is close. I just need to know what this means. Also we have a high whining sound when we drive long distances and were told it had something to do with the power steering motor.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
