I was recently involved in an accident in which I was going about 20 mph and rear-ended the car in front of me that abruptly slammed on brakes. My anti-lock brakes locked up (left skid marks ~ 3ft. long) and my airbag did not deploy upon impact (not at all!). To what would you attibute these two factors? Do you know who I should contact at Chrysler about these two issues?

Thank you,

L. Carleton

the brakes will skid. they are meant not to lock up completely. the air bags not deploying may be due to the fact that you were not going fast enough to meet the deployment criteria. you must activate 2 crash sensors to deploy the air bag. contacting chrysler customer assistance might give you a better understanding of your accident. hope this helps
