While driving the whole minivan shudders and makes noise. I have taken it to the AutoWest in Fremont CA when I had 14000 miles on it to diagnose the problem. They could not find any thing wrong and they charged me $160.00 to say that. The problem still happens and when they took it for a test drive, they claim that it did not happen.

Now the 24000 mile service, AutoWest said that the rotors are warped and I need to replace the brakes.

I am not sure if the Chrysler minivans are designed badly or whether the dealer knows about this problem and does not want to fix it under warranty.

is the vehicle still under warenty? if the brakes were faulty the vehicles rotors would heat up and warp, or if you were using the brakes a lot and drove through some water puddles. that can cause them to warp.

i don't know of a poorly designed mopar that has bad brakes. or you would receive a recall notice.
