Airbag light is on. Scan tool says DTC code Right Up-Front Satellite Acceleration Sensor internal diagnostic code. No number with the code. I'm assuming it is the right front impact sensor on the frame. Any help?

That sounds correct. I believe it is located under the bumper near where it attaches to the frame. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

My 2005 town and country's air bag light keeps coming on and off. I am wondering what it could be. I could be idling and the light will come on or it will go off. There is no routine to it coming on or off.

Does it come on when you are making full turns?
If so it could be the clock spring in the steering column going bad. I know it sounds funny but that is what it is called.

I am currently stationed in Germany with my American 2006 Chrysler Town and Country 3.8L V6 and I have an Airbag Light on. I took it to a Alpha Romeo Dealer to have a computer diagnose it and they gave me a print out that stated that the front left and front right impact sensors are the problem. I am having a difficult time believing that both sensors went bad at the same time so can you offer me some suggestions on where the problem is?

The first thing I would need from you is the exact code numbers you have not code descriptions? Its hard for me to believe that both went bad at the same time also. Depending on the code numbers it might take a expensive scan tool that can read live air bag data to diagnose the problem.

The airbag light never goes off and horn will not blow from the steering wheel. The horn will sound off when the doors are locked.

Clock spring under the steeing wheel. The cruise control should not work too. The horn is operated also by the Body Computer for the remote keyless entry. He has no related wires going to the steering wheel so it's on a separate circuit.

Many clock springs don't last near 150,000 miles. It's a wound up ribbon cable that makes a solid electrical connection to the air bag rather than the old sliding horn contact that could have micrscopic intermittent spots. You'd never notice those with a horn, but there must be a perfect connection at the exact microsecond an air bag has to deploy. The ribbon cable does that while still allowing the steering wheel to turn.

My airbag light is on but my horn an cruise control is still working. What else could it be that is causing the
Airbag light to stay on. An also my radio controls on the steering wheel not working. I would greatly appreciate your input thanks in advance

Have it scanned by a pro not an autoparts as they can't read these codes. It may be the clock spring in steering column.

It could be a seat belt pre-tensioner, or so many other things.I agree you need to get the code/codes red and post them here for us. And as already stated, your average parts stores are not going to be able to read these codes.

Hi:
There may be a short near one of the sensors or a bad sensor. Keep in mind, the air bag may not deploy in an accident, so I recommend having the system scanned to determine the problem.

My Town & County's Air Bag Warning Light keeps coming on and off. I've checked the connection to the sensor on the front bumper and nothing's loose.
I'm not sure where the Side Impact Sensors are located and where any other connections that I should check are located.
Not sure where to go from here.

Earl:
Have the computer stanned at a nationally recognized parts store. They will do it for free and let you know what is causing the problem.

Unfortunately, parts store's (Autozone's Actron or Checker O'Reilly Equus) OBD-II scanner only scans PCM codes, not from ORC occupant restraint controller (air bag) codes. You will need a DRB scanner such as Genesis (nationally-reputable repair shops have it).

Your side impact air bag sensor is located on the lower B pillars (both sides), side airbag sensor on the outboard side of front seat back frame, ORC is under dash/instrument panel, forward of storage bin.
