Welcome to the forum, check for manufacturer specific trouble codes or have them checked. The headlamp switch sends a signal to the bcm, the bcm sends a signal to the front control module, the lamp drivers are in the front control module. The code might give you a starting point? Intermittent problems can be hard to track.
