2005 Chrysler Town and Country Creaking upon stopping

Hello,

We've noticed a creaking noise coming from the rear of our van whenever coming to a stop. For now, it seems to be intermittent, and seems to be happening on cold days. Brakes were thoroughly checked out, no problem there.

Any ideas?

Hi:

If the temp has an affect on it, it's most likely rubber bushings. I believe you have a rear sway bar that has them and shocks that may have be causing a noise. Check thise areas and let me know what you find.
