On this vehicle I found a TSB bullentin regarding code P0301 and it states for this problem to replace plugs and wires and to have the PCM reprogramed. I have done all these items that the TSB required and it was off for a week and this morning it came back on. I noticed even after replacing the plugs and wires and reprograming the PCM that when at start up there is a misfire for a couple of seconds and then clears up. Could i have a bad cam position sensor? I really do not understand why this is only at start up and then clears up not unless there is a problem with the PCM. Do you have any ideas of what could cause this problem. My daughter purchased this car 3 weeks ago and I have been trying to solve this problem since day one.
