I replaced the computer in my van about 7 months ago. Once again it seems to be out. If I try to start the van it will not start and once all the other dash lights go out the vehicle theft light stays on and it is a solid red light, not a flashing one. Is there any way to fix this ? Or do I have to buy a whole new computer ? Need your help as my husband does not want to fix. Is there a way to reset the computer ?

Thanks for your time.

It could be a loose connection behind the dash. Check that. IF all appear clean and tight, I hate to say it, but it is a dealer fix. They are the only ones that have the proper test equipment to check it.
