I just had the solenoid replaced on my 03 Town and Country... the old one leaked. After getting it back a week ago it shifts hard at around 15-25 mph when slowing down. It accelerates fine and makes no noise. The mechanic suggests the computer needs to re-calibrate, does this make sense?

Thanks

You said the old one leaked. Surely your mechanic topped off your transmission when he installed the new one. Ask him what transmission fluid he put in. Make sure that it is ATF +4 meant for Chrysler, and not the commonly used Dexron III/Mercon.
