vehicle needs a tuneup. What are the parts that need replacing and is there any thing else that is required such as looking at spark plugs with a monitor.

A general tune-up includes spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, air filter (if needed) and inspection of belts.

Why do you feel a tune up is needed?
