At first my steering wheel used to shake when I pressed on the brake after going 55 mph and above. Now my steering wheel shakes without pressing on brakes, no matter what speed I am going. I need to know what may be wrong with my vehicle.

sounds to me like there is a issue with the rotors. check the rotors for runout and warping, since the pads are at very low clearences of thousandths of an inch, if there is slight warpage you can easilyfeel the warpage through the vehicle.
