REAR LIFT GATE DOES NOT ALWAYS OPEN AUTOMATICALLY. IT WILL ALWAYS CLOSE UNDER POWER, BUT IT SEEM TO TAKE 3 TRIES FOR IT TO OPEN UNDER POWER.

I am sorry. Sometimes lubrication is neccessary to smoothen the motors job. And it is a tough one. I would try that first. The cold weather slows all energy down.
