I need to replace Driver side Power window and the instructions in your online dont provide enough information. I.E. Do the electrical wires need to be disconnected from the mirror side or from within the dask. There is no instructions on how to do this or which side of the wireing to take action against. If on the mirror side, how do you get behing mirror to disconnect 3 seperate set of wires that are connected. If on the dash side, then do we need remove from cover to get to the source. Please help.

On the 2001 model both disconnected in the drivers door, requiring the door trim panel to be removed completely. Different years were all the same, but I always judged by the new unit where the electrical and mechanical attachment points were located. Never did a 2002 but I don't have a service manual handy. I will look to see if it was any different.
I wonder if the part is correct.
