My speedometer has been going crazy while stopped and when accelorating it my car starts jumping (stalling out or hesitating). A couple of times the speedometer stops working all together and there is no stalling out when I accelorate. Seems the only time it starts jumping is when my speedometer is going up and down real fast. None of my other meters are doing this, just the speedometer and my check engine lighting has NOT came on at all. Someone told me yesterday (friend of family) that my whole computer could need to be replaced. Please help, also, area there some things that my step father can check before taking my car to a Chrysler mechanic?
