What are some things I could try, to resolve a engine
code p0256(injection pump metering control mal-function cam/rotor/injector) on a 01 Chrysler mini-van?

P0256 - Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control B Malfunction (Cam/Rotor/Injector)


P0256 Description

The ECM detects a discrepancy between the Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) supplied to the Electronic Fuel Control Actuator (FCA) and the PWM returned from the Electronic Fuel Control Actuator (FCA).Symptoms- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

Possible Causes

- Fuel Pump
- FCA Driver Open
- Return Circuit Open from FCA to ECM
- FCA Driver Circuit Shorted to External Voltage
- FCA Return Circuit Shorted to External V
