It seems that the van makes a clicking noise from underneath the van when I press the accelerator. Sometimes it does it as well when I turn the wheels, but I am usually pressing the accelerator. My husband thinks that it might be the half shaft, but I am not convinced.

Give your self enough room and turn the steering all the way to one side and drive and then do it again but this time turn the wheel all the way to the other side
and if that is the noise and clicking that you are hearing suspect for sure CV drive shaft axle
