2001 Chrysler Town and Country heat

My heat works in the rear of the van, I mean it comes out hot. But for some reason only cold air comes out the front and it will only blow from the floor it wont switch when I change it to vents & ect. What is the problem?

Hi:
It sounds like there is a problem with one of the vent doors in the HVAC ductwork. They are ryn by vaccum and direct air to the different locations. Listen closely under the dash and near the switch to see if you hear a hiss coming from a vacuum leak. This could also be causing heat to not enter from the front heater core.
