2001 Chrysler Town and Country electronic ignition module

put key in and it will not turn. was told by dealer that it was the module but i can't afford the part. seems to do this when it's cold outside. Most days i just jiggle the key in the ignition and it will start. Today, nothing!!! we have tried to do what the repair manual says: remove battery cable and it should release the inside part in the ignition...no go today PLEASE HELP! need car right away.

If ignition key is not turning then the cylinder need to be replaced

if you would call a lock smith it should be about $100 to $125 for them to replace the cylinder for you
