2001 Chrysler Town and Country ECM failure

2001 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY

I have a Check Engine light. Took it to Autozone to see what the code was, they said it was an ECM Failure - code P0601. - 3.8L engine

I am better than average at repair. Can I replace the ECM without major issues.

Should I check something else before replacing the ECM?

Only one concern. The new PCM will need to be re-programmed for use in your vehicle before the vehicle can be operational. 1.5 hour charge at your local dealership.
