I have a 2001 Town and Country van with a 3.8 liter engine. Recently the blower for the heat/AC started acting funny. First, it would only work sporadically, then it would run a little while and stop. Then it quit altogether. Today I started the van and the blower was running on high. No matter where I set the fan speed it stayed on high. Also, when I turned the power to the heat/ac off, the fan keeps running. It has been like this for three days. Any suggestions? I changed out the relay under the hood but that made no difference.

Sounds like your blower motor resister is going bad. It controls the blower speeds.

I agree with MGERSH7, this happens when the blower motor speed control goes out which is common, here is the location so you can swap it out and fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
