I can't tell how the very back of the blower motor housing cover is attached.

I've replaced the blower motor on my other Town and Country which is the same year but it's a 3.8. I have removed four screws but there appears (not absolutely sure) to be a fifth mount in the very back. With a mirror I can see that there is a flange but the is no screw. My mechanic suggested that "some vehicles" you have to get at from the top by going throught the dash. Can you confirm this and if so what the steps are to get the dash off (two large sections)?

Thanks!
Dave

The Motor is hung from the bottom, There are 2 screws that are troublesome. 1 is at front rh side and goes from top down, other is at VERY back and hard to get. I pull carpet back then make a slice in the underlay, remove it and it will go back in. This gives you just enough room to get that screw. Careful when removing lower cover as the Blend Door for outside air breaks easy.
