Hello, I need to flush today. I am underneath the vehicle vertically down from the coolant opening on the radiator. I see a plug and it appears to have a clamp on it. I pulled and twisted and cannot remove. Is this the plug and if so how do I remove. Is the drain on the other side? Thanking you in advance for your assistance.

Be blessed, Ron

Hello,

The radiator drain plug is located at the bottom corner of the radiator. It should not have any clamp on it.
It simply screws into the place.
To take it off turn the drain plug stem counterclockwise and it will come out.

Here is a helpful article on radiator drain and flush:

See attached diagram for the radiator drain plug.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
