Try replacing the two lower switches next to each other on the corner. They may be bad also. Then disconnect the battery for 30 secponds. Start and check fluid in Park, hot, before checking and having it looked at. The switch facing the front is called a range switch. The other is called a Park Neutral switch. A PRNDL. Prindle switch. If the fluid smells burnt, at least you will know it needs lots of work. The valve body inside contacts these switches and also breaks sometimes. It requires removal of the pan to check that. Be careful please. They have different threads so you can't mix them up. The plug may have came off one. There is a fuse involved.
