Car will go into gear but nothing happens, only in reverse the car will Move back

I have a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country van that will go into gears but nothing happens. It will go into is reverse and the car will move back. I'd check the transmission fluid and it looks good. What would be causing this? Is there an easy fix?

It will most likely have to be removed and overhauled. It sounds like the forward clutch pack.
