1999 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

when in reverse car trys to move but park still engaged . in neutral engine runs freely but park engaged . in drive car trys to move but park still engaged. brakes are not locked . wheels turn freely

It is quite possible that the shift cable needs to be adjusted. It is on top of the transmission.
