I was searching the web for the Powertrain Control Module and it came up with NIEHOFF Ignition Computer. Are these the same parts with a different name? Does this vehicle have a Powertrain Control Module? I took the car to the mechanic because the car will not turn on unless you jump start it by connecting a cable directly to the starter and the other to the battery. I am going to take a wild guess and say that everything on the vehicle works fine once started right?

If so I would look at the Ignition Switch or the Ignition Fuse or Relay, Not the PCM.
