what is the average cost to fix a head gasket for this vehicle? should i take it to someone besides a dealership?

OEM dealer parts = $58-50
labor @$50 p/h x 6 =$300-00
total = $358-50

you can get the 2x headgaskets cheaper at a autoparts store .. dealers will charge you more for labor cost
