1998 Chrysler Town and Country transmission shifting

I have started to notice that when van is shifting from second to first it drops in to gear hard , not smooth as it should, would trans flush and cleaning solve problem., thanks

my 02 was doing the same from od to 3rd. I took it in and had the tranny scanned. something in the computer was out of whack so they reset it.
