1998 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

hi the problem is my battery light keeps coming on and I think it makes a noise in one of the pulleys and I think it may be the altenator is thier anything else it could be and if not could U tell me how to replace the altenator myself
