my van will not go past 40 mph. When its cold sometimes it will have trouble slipping into gears. But now it wont accelerate past 40 mph. Help!

If you cycle the key on off three times you can read the codes in the odometer area
or you can visit your local prat store like auto zone they will scan it for free
