I am having trouble removing the old power steering pump upon finding it leaking. I removed all the bolts (very difficult!) But am having trouble with the fluid lines. Unscrewing the supply line was no problem, but the return line (squeeze clamp) is very difficult to get to, and the main question I have is about what appears to be an additional third line that is attached to the back of the pump. It looks as though it is an additional fluid line, and I can see no way to remove it from the back of the pump. I have no idea where the line is going, and cannot see where it attaches to disconnect it from the reservoir (if it does attach to it). The pump is loose and disconnected other than the lines, but I can't seem to be able to remove the additional line. My repair manual neither mentions it nor has a picture of it. Any help you could give would be very much appreciated!

The line with the spring clamp should be loose enough so that you can pull it right off, or cut it if you have enough length to reattach it and then use a worm clamp. As for the other line, im not sure where it goes either. Once you get the first line off, get back to us if you still cant get it out.
