1997 Chrysler Town and Country Interior light dimmer switch

When I open the door the interior lights do not come on. I thought maybe it was the door jam switch, but then even when I use the dimmer switch by the headlight switch, they don't even come on using that. Any ideas???

first check fuse(s) and bulbs. if both OK then test out the dimmer switch, may need replaced or bad wiring at switch.
