How do you reset the computer so the codes will read when it is taken fo an e-check?

U can reset PCM by disconnecting the battery negative side and set aside open driver door and step on the brakes
place the terminal back drive van any where from 5 to 100 miles
go and have your test
is check engine light come back on you need to have it scanned for codes and fix it before you can get a pass
