2007 Chrysler Sebring Key won't turn in the ignition

Hi. I'm having problems with starting my car. The key will not turn in the ignition. We have replaced the battery in the key and it still won't turn. The keypad also does not work to open the doors or the trunk. I don't know if this is a security feature or what. Please help!

It does have something to do with the security system.
