2005 Chrysler Sebring 4 cyl 80000 miles

While driving my temperature gauge will appear to be normal. After driving i can see it gradually creeps it way up to HOT and then seconds later it will return to normal. Also, my air or heat will not blow on 1,2,or 3. It will only blow at the highest. After the 1st time of me noticing this I pulled over immediately, turned the car off, raised the hood to see nothing over heating. I got back in the car to turn it back on and it was back at the normal level. Please help!

Two things for you to check.

1. Check your thermostat. Sometimes, a thermostat will get stuck for a moment, and it becomes "unstuck" and runs normal again.

2. Follow this direction to fix your blower resistor, so you will have speeds 1, 2 and 3. It is meant for '95 - '00 Stratus variations, but it works for most Chryslers.
