2005 Chrysler Sebring replacing the egr valve

2005 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown 99000 miles

My engine light recently came on and when I took it to get checked the code came up as po406 which is the egv valve. Can you please tell me how to get to this valve on my 2005 chrysler sebring convt.

Either the DPFE sensor is bad and not reading the EGR valve its a common problem.

if it tests out good then the egr may be dirty and sticking open.

your code stands for EGR excessive flow.

i dont know on your specific vehicle it will be hooked to the egr through wire harness.

best bet is to look up a pic. online and find it.
