2004 Chrysler Sebring stoping and going

when driving down the road the car stops moving but after sitting for an hoour it will move again is it because the transmission fluid should be changed or does it mean i need to rebuild the trany the fluid hasn't been changed as far as i know

If the fluid has never been changed, then it is a good time to change it. Make sure that it is replaced with ATF+4, not just any transmission fluid.

You should also have a check engine on it this has been going on for a while. Go get the computer scan, and get back with the code numbers...
