My oil pressure light comes on after the car has been running for awhile. It will only come on when I am sitting idle. The RPM's will drop below.5 and it feels like it wants to stall. The light doesn't always come on though. I changed the oil pressure sensor.

If the RPM's get low enough, it will come on. Have you heard any ticking or knocking from the engine? Also, has the check engine light come on?

No engine noise and no check engine light. The car runs smooth and the light comes on occasionally when I am at a light. That's what is frustrating it doesn't always come on. I had the oil pan gasket changed because I had a leak and the sensor was replaced. The oil has been replaced twice in the last two months. I ran diagnostics and there were no codes. I was told to bring it back when the light came on.

Thanks
