2004 Chrysler Sebring Ignition Switch Just locked on me

Hello, I am requiring about my ignition switch. It locked on me this morning on the way to work. I assume it was because of the cold weather here in Memphis. I have tried several things, but it will not move at all. The steering couple is turning. And it is definitely in part. Usually my steering couple would lock wen I release the key from the switch. Please let me know what I can do to solve the problem.

I'm not sure I understand. Did the switch lock and you can't remove the key? What do you mean by the couple will turn.
