2004 Chrysler Sebring Ignition switch

2004 Chrysler Sebring 6 cyl Automatic 104000 miles

Hi, I am having a problem with my ignition switch, I cant get my key to turn the ignition. The key fits in the ignition just fine. I have tried turning the steering column right and left to get it to lock and release. The steering column is not locked and I cant get it to lock. The car seems to be in park. Any suggestions?
