2004 Chrysler Sebring engine vibrates when AC is put on

car runs great until the AC is put on then car engine wants to die out poor acceleration rough idle...Once moving the car once again runs great till I come to a complete stop and idle...
Only when AC is put on....At idle only...

Sounds like a bad a/c compressor. When it engages, it is straining the engine. Watch the serpentine belt when you turn it on. Does it hop?
