Hello. I have 2004 sebring with 2.7L v6. I just replaced the engine coz the previous owner did n't change the oil, and now the alternator is not charging the battery. I'm not sure if I forgot to connect a ground wire somewhere or the voltage regulator inside the pcm is burnt, any help please.

Thanks a lot

Get the battery and alternator load tested if it checks out-you could be right with the field generation control with the PCM. Double check all connections involving the alternator and battery.
