My car was working perfectly one minute and the next one it's not starting up. My battery appears to be fine, all of my power things work, as well as the lights but my engine doesn't make a sound.
I was having a slight problem before where as I had to bang my key in the ignition to get it to turn so that I could start it, but that Always did the trick. Now when I get it to turn it doesn't even make a sound. What could it be? Please help- I don't have any cash to take it to a service station. Thanks

I need you to check something. If there is no noise at all when you turn the key to start, have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. You should get 12+ volts when the key is in the start position.

Let me know what you find.
